Laurel Van Patten is a Los Angeles based Designer & Painter for the entertainment industry who has a passion for creating visuals that tell stories and connect emotionally with audiences.
Laurel has 3+ years of experience designing and painting for feature & series animation and 9+ years of experience designing for themed entertainment projects around the world. She is currently looking for her next role, so please reach out if you feel she may be a match for your team!
Previously, she has designed for the feature film Piece by Piece, the LEGO Dreamzzz TV series, LEGO Disney Princess: The Castle Quest, and a shelved feature project. Prior to her animation work, she is most proud of her work as Sr. Graphic Designer for the THEA award winning attraction, The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash! Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood.
When not drawing or painting, Laurel loves gardening, trying new restaurants, crocheting, reading, watching movies, playing video games, and traveling.
